Packing for Panama

This is my first time back to Panama in 7 years! My grandmother was from there so I feel a very close connection with the country. We are headed to Panama City and Bocas del Toro. Think city and island. Packing for exploring Panama, can be a challenge. First, it rains EVERY day. Not a cold wet rain, a tropical warm, yet refreshing rain. Unfortunately, that can cramps a girl's style. Panama City is known as a banking hub and so people tend to dress a more formal and conservative than the U.S.  (what's new?). So no, you can't go walking around in a swimsuit cover up disguised as a dress all day. I'm opting for dresses / skirts, sandals / booties (for the rain), and the occasional jean. Dealing with the heat and humidity is certainly challenging, so light weight clothing is ideal. Hopefully I fit in! Wee, here we go!
