Classic Ferragamos

Classic Ferragamos

My obsession with shoes started long ago. I love, love, love handbags & shoes. I believe beautiful handbag & shoes make your outfit, and whatever else you're wearing is secondary. I especially love a classic pair of shoes. Especially a well-styled pair of Ferragamos.

Ferragamos are timeless. They go with everything. You could be wearing a potato sack and then put on some classic Ferragamos, grab a matching handbag, and BAM! Runway Ready. It's just a fact of life, what are you gonna do? So when I'm meandering (more like hunting like a wolf) through a vintage store and I find a classic pair of Ferragamos IN MY SIZE it's like Christmas morning! When I grab those babies and slip them on it's perfection. They look great, feel great, and the vintage flair adds that little extra touch.

Styling Ferragamos

Black and White, monochromes, and denim are in this season and will be trending into next year. Slingbacks, slides, and your grandma's shoes are also here to stay. Chanel has always made their classic B&W slingback or some version it, but it was always worn by an older generation, today younger women are wearing this style and I am so glad to see it because I have always been a fan! #teamgranny I love this pair of classic black and white Ferragamos because they go with everything. I can wear them with jeans, skirts, dresses, and slacks. They are an extremely versatile shoe.

Finding Ferragamos

Ferragamos run small and narrow so I wear a 9 instead of an 8. When you're hunting for your vintage 'classic shoes' (Ferragamos, Gucci, Chanel Etc.) make sure you actually like the style and fit. DO NOT buy them just because they are 'designer' because they will end up never worn in the back of your closet. What good is that? Plus you want to be honest to your true style. If vintage shoes are not your thing totally fine go buy new shoes! There are some amazing brands out there right now making super cute classic style shoes.
